We are community. Family owned. Mom and pop. Outdoor adventure experts. Established in 1985. When Shoreline was originally opened, it was one of the first snowboard shops on the west coast. Over time, we have evolved into a one stop shop for all of your adventure needs. After working at Shoreline for 17 years, we (Ken and Lani Raspen) made the big commitment jump and took over ownership in January of 2018. We are both Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association Crew Leaders and host multiple volunteer trail building days throughout the season. Building trails and expanding the riding opportunities for our community is our passion. We also provide rest stop hosting for TAMBA’s annual Rose to Toad’s 62 mile mountain bike adventure ride, as well as assist with all of the Bike the West road rides: Tour de Tahoe and America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride. Women’s Crush Sunday is our free women’s group bike ride and skills clinic that we host most Sunday’s throughout the bike season. Know Before You Go is our annual free avalanche awareness presentation we host at the shop with the Sierra Avalanche Center. Our employees are professional outdoor enthusiasts and love to share their passion with you. If they are not at the shop helping our amazing customers, they are definitely out shredding and product testing everything available at our shop. Our team hand picks each and every item that makes it to our shelves and we stand behind all of them.
